To continue my 2010 fall/winter weather ponder of how the, la nina, has affected CO migratory birds. Noted from the recent snow fall that the majority of snow fall was focused on the more northern ski resorts, NE to SE corridor. Waterfowl ,except for the gesse, have pretty much pushed out and my next hunting opportunity isn't 2 weekends after New years. Not optimistic at this point about it.
HEY...I'm no metorlogist but I'd say CO's got some great potential to have a SICK ski season. GET READY. I'm still huntin' and fishin' but when the snow's good you got to get it.
Weekend of 12/18-19 is looking pretty good right now!
